Computational Biologist, Parse Biosciences

Ashwath is an accomplished computational biologist with extensive experience in bioinformatics and data analysis. He currently co-directs computational efforts at Parse Biosciences, a startup specializing in scalable single-cell sequencing products, where he has significantly contributed to developing robust algorithms. Ashwath’s career includes experience at pharmaceutical companies and research labs, leading computational projects for drug discovery at various phases. He also serves as an industry expert and mentor with the SPARK program at Stanford. Ashwath’s expertise lies in establishing and refining computational pipelines, machine learning frameworks, and data analysis protocols. He holds a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology from India, and both a Master’s and a PhD in Bioinformatics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
