Bharat Tewarie, M.D., M.B.A., currently serves as CEO of Helio Genomics, an AI-powered TechBio company focused on developing and commercializing multi-omics tests for earlier cancer diagnosis. It is the first company to launch a new blood-based liver cancer surveillance test,HelioLiver®. Dr. Tewarie has held senior executive positions at both local and global levels in the United States, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium, with organizations including Boehringer Ingelheim, Roche, EMD Serono, and Merck KGaA. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at UCB in Brussels. His experience as CEO spans companies such as ViroCarb Inc. and Prana Biosciences. In addition to his executive roles, Dr. Tewarie is a member of the board of directors of Aveta Biomics. He also chairs the New England Chapter of the Netherland America Foundation (NAF), and is a member of its Board of Directors.
