Daniel Herrera

Co-Founding General Partner, Eleven26 Capital

Daniel “Dan” Herrera is the founder and managing partner of Eleven26 Capital, currently fundraising to invest in outlier founders building the evolving internet. Dan also advises venture firms and family offices on portfolio construction, strategy setting, and the operationalization of investment vehicles. He is the co-author of *Evolving Internet Insights*, a twice-weekly newsletter focused on emerging technologies, which is read by leaders from companies like Amazon, Google, and prominent AI/Web3 startups. Before founding Eleven26 Capital, Dan was Director of Investments at Miami Angels VC, Florida’s largest and most active venture capital syndicate consisting of 150 VC firms, family offices, and HNWIs. Prior to that, he served as Chief of Staff and was a founding team member of a venture-backed technology startup in Mexico City that transformed the traditional taxi industry and was acquired in 2018. Earlier in his career, Dan worked as a management consultant at Kearney, advising global clients on strategy and operations. Dan earned his MBA from Columbia Business School as a member of the Class of 2022 and currently serves on CBS’s Recent Alumni Board. He enjoys spending quality time with his partner and family, cooking while listening to NPR Tiny Desk concerts, and reading Hodinkee articles.
