Daniel Leibholz

Senior Vice President, Former CTO, ADI

Dan Leibholz is an independent consultant advising emerging companies, venture capital firms, and established organizations. Currently on leave from Analog Devices (ADI), he formerly served as ADI’s Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Dan led technology strategy, cultivated new business and technology opportunities, and developed foundational capabilities. He also drove ADI’s Intelligent Edge strategy, focusing on AI/ML, security, and digital platforms across the company. Previously, Dan led ADI’s Communications Business Unit through significant growth in 5G infrastructure and networking technologies and served as VP of ADI’s Consumer business, securing major design wins and revenue growth at smartphone, audio, and video OEMs. Before joining ADI, Dan was an Engineering Director and Fellow at Advanced Micro Devices, a Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems with leadership responsibilities in processor architecture and development, and a Consulting Engineer at Digital Equipment Corp. He is also listed as an inventor on 18 patents in computer architecture. Dan holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Brown University and serves on Brown’s School of Engineering Corporate Advisory Board. He is also the Board Chairman for the Massachusetts Science and Engineering Fair, a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the next generation of scientists and engineers through experiential education.
