Deren Koseoglu

Vice President of Global Accounts, eMolecules

With a successful career in biotechnology and sales, I am a customer-focused sales leader well-versed in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and software industries. My journey has involved early stage R&D and manufacturing, allowing me to understand various manufacturing processes and possess an analytical and chemical oriented background. I excel in building strong customer relationships, exceeding sales targets, and negotiating complex deals, showcasing my expertise in locating and closing new business. In my current role as Vice President of Global Accounts at eMolecules, I oversee a significant portfolio of commercial pharmaceutical accounts globally. Directing a team, I drive strategic initiatives to exceed revenue targets and foster partnerships with key stakeholders within pharmaceutical accounts. I have built the GTM strategy for our biotech product and initiative and lead marketing efforts in that regard. Previously, as Director of Sales at Schrödinger, a leading life science software firm, I managed a significant portfolio of commercial pharmaceutical and biotech accounts and led a team of account managers with a quota exceeding $5M. My tenure saw the establishment of strategic partnerships and significant revenue growth. Earlier roles, including Senior Account Manager at Schrödinger and Marketing Account Manager at Kaneka North America, saw consistent increases in sales, establishment of new business, and formation of key service partnerships within the biotechnology and CASE sectors. My educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing/Go-to-Market Strategy from Rice University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Texas A&M University. Lastly, I now operate my own consulting firm offering business development, marketing, and GTM strategies for biotech and software firms.
