Doron Sagman

Doron Sagman is an MD/psychiatrist, venture capitalist, and R&D Life Sciences consultant with executive leadership experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry. As Vice President, R&D/Medical Affairs and Sr. Medical Director at Eli Lilly Canada, he led the medical, clinical and regulatory affairs divisions across a broad therapeutic span, including neuroscience/neurodegeneration, immunology, oncology, and diabetes, through multiple launches. As Chief Medical Officer at Mind Cure Health, he oversaw the early phase psychedelic R&D clinical development program and strategy. He is currently President of Arel Biopharma Consulting Inc., working with leading biotech firms and seed-stage companies. He is a Venture Partner at Treasure Coast Ventures, an investor/Life Science Advisor with K2X Technology and Life Science Inc., and a member of Mid Atlantic Bio Angels and Keiretsu Forum, with an overall focus on Life Sciences, MedTech, and Digital Health. Doron is a published author and psychiatrist with decades of inpatient and outpatient clinical experience centered on mood/anxiety disorders and ADHD, in both community and academic settings. He earned his BA from McGill University, an MD from the University of Calgary, and completed his psychiatric training at the University of Toronto.
