Doron Sagman

Doron Sagman is an MD/psychiatrist, venture capitalist, and R&D Life Sciences consultant with executive leadership experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry. As Vice President, R&D/Medical Affairs and Sr. Medical Director at Eli Lilly Canada, he led the medical, clinical and regulatory affairs divisions across numerous therapeutic areas, including neuroscience/neurodegeneration, immunology, oncology, and diabetes, through multiple launches spanning almost 2 decades. He is currently CEO of Arel Group Inc., a Life Sciences investment and biopharma consulting company with a focus on neuroscience. Additionally, he recently assumed the role of Chief Medical Officer at Neumora Therapeutics, managing the company’s neuroscience-based clinical development. Doron is a published author and general psychiatrist with decades of inpatient and outpatient clinical experience in both community and academic settings. He earned his BA from McGill University, an MD from the University of Calgary, and completed his psychiatric training at the University of Toronto.
