Elcin Zan, MD, is the Chair of Nuclear Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. Elcin is passionate about transforming the standard of care via scaling up early patient access to novel therapies, aiming to meaningfully improve patients' quality and quantity of life. She has embraced Theranostics approach, utilizing bio-identical molecules for both imaging and therapy by switching the type of radiation payload delivered to target cells in diseases such as cancer, endometriosis and chronic pain syndromes. Elcin has served as a medical consultant in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies. Elcin completed medical school in Ankara, Turkey followed by residency and fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.
