Kris Kemeny

Kris Kemeny is a seasoned venture capital investor and executive with nearly two decades of experience applying deep technologies and science to physical-world industries. His investments span applied AI, computer vision, cell therapies, cybersecurity, genetic engineering, industrial software, materials science, robotics, and synthetic biology. Kris founded and served as Managing Director of Tekfen Ventures, a notable strategic deep tech venture fund dedicated to industrial innovation. During his tenure, Kris was an early investor in several category-defining companies, including Pivot Bio, Claroty, Tropic Biosciences, and Prospera. Collectively, the portfolio companies have raised over $3B from leading global investors. In addition to industrial technologies, Kris has extensive experience building and backing innovations for the healthcare sector through his time at the Advisory Board Company and Lux Capital. Kris began his career in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs. Kris earned his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Economics, International Relations, and Political Science and completed the General Course at the London School of Economics.
