Mirko Kerschbaum

Mirko started his career in the Automotive industry at Daimler working in Executive positions in various functional areas including logistics, engineering, purchasing and strategy. In 2002 he moved to the US and worked for Chrysler Group as the Program Office Lead for Turnaround and Merger, Commercial Officer for the SRT division and then Chief of Staff to the President and CEO. In 2008 he relocated to Silicon Valley and spent the next 6 years at 2 startups in mobility (BetterPlace) and IoT/M2M (Aeris Communications). In late 2014 he started his own consulting company helping large clients like SAP and LEAR Corporation with Corporate Venture activities and Strategic Projects in Silicon Valley. He also worked as an advisor for a Venture Capital company. Mirko moved to Switzerland in late 2017. Since then he has been an active angel investor and a startup coach for the Swiss Government. In April 2023 he returned to the US and is now living close to NYC. He has a great understanding of how large companies, startups and venture capital function and work together. With his deep technical and business experience he is comfortable at all levels in any global organization. A very strategic thinker who is also capable of getting things done and very comfortable in working with diverse global teams. Mirko enjoys fitness, taekwondo, owned various classic cars and likes the outdoors.
