Promise Phelon’s career spans a wide variety of leadership, mentorship, and change-agent roles. Today, she is the Founder and GP of Growth Warrior Capital, an early-stage venture capital fund mission-driven to invest in diverse and female entrepreneurs creating game-changing companies in Future-of-Work, FinTech, and Advanced Technologies (e.g., Blockchain, AI, ML that solve systemic issues). In addition to providing much-needed Pre-Seed, Seed, and A-round capital, Growth Warrior Capital delivers the kind of founder-specific conditioning and connections these unique entrepreneurs need most — we call this Mentor Capital. Prior to founding Growth Warrior Capital, as turnaround-CEO of TapInfluence, Ms. Phelon created a profitable exit for the social media / influencer software company; exponentially scaled revenue at two other SaaS software companies; and is a long-time mentor to technology entrepreneurs — in that role, Ms. Phelon also authored The Way of the Growth Warrior, 7 non-Negotiable Skills to Win in Uncertain Times.
