Sharad Mishra

Sharad Mishra is a Director at Labcorp’s Corporate Venture Fund, where he focuses on healthcare investments across diagnostics, digital health, oncology, precision medicine, and emerging healthcare technologies. Sharad has more than 20 years of experience across clinical medicine, venture investing, corporate development, and healthcare entrepreneurship. Prior to Labcorp, he worked in venture development and investments at UnitedHealth Group and led corporate development at Freedom Meditech, a non-invasive diabetes screening company acquired in 2016. Earlier in his career, Sharad worked with DePuy Synthes in orthopedic implants and surgical training, and practiced as an intensive care physician with Apollo Hospitals in India. He currently serves as a Venture Partner at MedStartr and previously served as a Venture Partner at Cancer Fund. He is also the co-founder of MedVenture Catalyst, an early-stage healthcare startup consulting company. Sharad holds a medical degree from the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences in India and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
