Endless Frontier Labs invites high school students interested in the intersections of entrepreneurship, technology, and/or science-based innovation to apply for our 2024-2025 Young Ambassadors cohort! During the EFL Young Ambassadors experience, students will have the opportunity to shadow world-renowned scientists, CEOs, and business leaders and observe their meetings with startup founders in the Endless Frontier Labs startup program.
EFL is on a mission to create an inclusive and educational space for under-represented high school students interested in science, technology, and entrepreneurship! Each year, EFL offers high school students the opportunity to join the program for a full-day meeting to learn from leading scientists, startups, VCs, and industry experts through the Young Ambassadors Program!
Students admitted to the Young Ambassadors cohort will have the opportunity to attend at least one (1) EFL Meeting Day to learn from EFL mentors, Stern MBA students, and science and technology startups. During Meeting Days, Young Ambassador students will shadow an EFL mentor, joining that mentor’s morning meetings with different startups, as well as watching the afternoon plenary session, where the companies and mentors present on the progress made towards the companies’ goals.
For each Meeting Day students participate in, students will have to attend 1 pre-meeting workshop with EFL staff members to learn more about the program, the industry, and meet your mentor.
Will this program be in-person or remote?
The Young Ambassadors cycle will operate in a hybrid model. Virtual and In-Person meeting day participation are available to you when filling out the application. Even if you choose to attend a virtual meeting day, we ask you only apply if you live within the Greater New York City area.
Is the program free?
Students admitted into the startup are not expected to pay anything in fees or tuition. For virtual days, students will have to provide their own computer/internet connection. If attending in person, students will need to secure their own transportation to the NYU Stern School of Business. Will I receive college credits?
The Young Ambassadors program is a non-credit bearing program. However, you will have the opportunity to work and learn with NYU Stern staff throughout the program with access to scientists, investors, industry experts, NYU Stern MBA students, and NYU professors.
When are meeting days?
Students admitted will have the option to select at least one (1) EFL Meeting Day presented in the application form. Please consult with parents/guardians and school to decide which days work best for your schedule and interest.
Students that successfully complete any of the following days will have the opportunity to be invited to observe EFL’s end-of-year showcase in May, Frontiers 2025.
