YOUNG AMBASSADORS PROGRAM

For High School students passionate about entrepreneurship, technology and science

ABOUT THE YA PROGRAM

Students admitted to the Young Ambassadors program will have the opportunity to attend EFL Meeting Days to learn from EFL mentors, Stern MBA students, and science and technology startup founders. During Meeting Days, Young Ambassador students will shadow an EFL MBA student working with a startup of the program. The day will include round robin style meetings with program mentors and a Shark Tank style plenary session of startup presentations, where founders and mentors speak to the progress made towards the companies' goals and the path ahead.

Interested high school students who meet the qualification highlighted below can apply to attend one of these meeting days as a Young Ambassador (YA) or attend all meeting days of a given track as a Cohort Young Ambassador (Cohort YA). The YA role is great for a snapshot of entrepreneurship within your track of interest whereas the Cohort YA role includes a deeper, more involved dive into the space.

Involvement in the program includes the following:

Required
      ·  Attending a virtual pre-meeting workshop to cover expectations and meet the EFL MBA student you'll be paired with
      ·  Attending the meeting day you've been selected for (may be virtual or in-person)
      ·  Completing the Takeaways Assignment & Feedback forms
      ·  For Cohort YAs: Attending the other meeting days of your track (3 total)
      ·  For Cohort YAs: Opportunity to work on special startup-related projects with your EFL MBA student

Optional/encouraged
      ·  Attending our in-person year end event, EFL Frontiers (early May).

In addition to the valuable experience, completing the program will earn you:

      •  A Linked-in Badge
      •  An e-certificate
      •  Suggested Resume language
