eggXYt’s CRISPR based technology makes it possible to identify the sex of livestock eggs/embryos before they are incubated or reared. In poultry, eggXYt is working with leading egg producers to introduce ethical eggs that eliminate the process of sexing and the disposal of male chicks allowing 7 billion male layer chicken eggs to be redirected to the egg market annually. eggXYt has early revenue for its solution from the bovine market and is close to securing the same in the poultry market.
