As we celebrate our 2020-2021 graduating cohort of startup companies, we’d like to recognize two revolutionary women-led teams from the group – Sardona Therapeutics (Life Sciences) and Shiru (Deep Tech) – who are the recipients of this year’s Elizabeth Elting Venture Fund awards.
NYU Stern alumna Elizabeth Elting (MBA ’92) has donated $2 million to EFL to provide investment funding for promising ventures featuring women in leadership positions or women-centric businesses that have successfully completed the program. This year, startup graduates Sardona Therapeutics and Shiru were awarded funding. Recipients for the Elizabeth Elting Venture Fund award are selected by track-specific committees.
